• SUPPORTING the teaching and learning needs of both our students and staff
• PROVIDING the best resources for ensuring students and staff are able to work in quality learning environments
  
• IMPROVING relationships between students, staff, parents and the wider community
• DEVELOPING policies and procedures which build a solid infrastructure of operation to allow the school to meet ministry NEG's and NAG's requirements
• EMPLOYING staff who are passionate and committed to acquiring new information, delivering quality education, and nurturing relationships between students, staff and parents
  
• PERMITTING funds to be made available for minor and major building projects to be completed

Kaitao Middle School Board of Trustees

We are a group of parents who were elected by members of our local community to take on the role of governing Kaitao Middle School for a period of 3 years. Boards of Trustees consist of a chairperson, secretary, teacher representative, other members and, of course, the principal.

Our board consists of the following:

Who are we?

It's not often that members of the Kaitao Middle School Board of Trustees get to feature on such a site as this, but in keeping up to date with the current climate of educational change it is only right that we support our school in sharing our own journey into the 21st Century of learning!
